This week's Reformation Fun Fact:

In 1523, Martin Luther helped twelve nuns escape from a cloister. They hid in the back of a wagon full of empty herring barrels. On Easter Eve, they hid in the barrels until they reached the safety of a neighboring town.

After almost 160 years as a congregation, God continues to bestow His blessings upon our ministry by allowing us to touch the lives of many through the faithful teaching and sharing of His life-giving, faith-strengthening Word and Sacraments. We are committed to the teaching of God’s inspired and infallible Word as explained by the creeds of the Christian Church and the Confessions of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.

As our ministry continues to grow, we are ever mindful of the growing, changing world around us. While maintaining our solid beliefs and teachings, we are always striving to find ways to share our faith by engaging with our community. We invite everyone to join us in carrying out our mission of “Preparing God’s people with God’s promises for God’s purposes.” To that end, we offer a variety of worship services as well as ample opportunities for spiritual growth and service for all ages. We also operate a preschool, elementary school, and middle school ministry along with a high school ministry in partnership with Concordia Lutheran High School.

Come check us out in person. All are welcome!
