Life is filled with a medley of moments, some that leave us happy and content and others that leave us saddened or feeling alone. In all moments, our Heavenly Father invites us into conversation with Him through prayer. He promises to hear the prayers of the faithful.

We are also called to support one another and to bear one another's burdens. A burden is not merely something that is bothersome; rather, a burden is something that is so heavy upon our hearts that we cannot possibly carry it alone. We have a beautiful opportunity as brothers and sisters in Christ to bear burdens of others through the means of prayer.

There are those in our St. Peter's Community of Care that are struggling with a burden too heavy to carry. We invite you to make a difference in the lives of these individuals by joining a PrayER Group and committing to praying for a specific type of prayer need (e.g., cancer, mental health, grief/bereavement, etc.) that you select. If you can give even 60 seconds per week (or more), you can support one another.

Individuals who join a PrayER Team will receive a message once a week from that group's organizer. This message will include the names of anyone added to the prayer list for that team in the past week. Then, you are asked to remember those people by name in your prayers.

It's a simple process with a powerful impact. Click here to learn more.
