Where you can be heard, enjoy fellowship, and grow in your faith
Tuesday evenings during the fall, winter, and spring
Dinner - 5:30 pm; Large Group Devotions - 6:10 pm; Classes - 6:30-7:30 pm
Hope Sessions are a place where you can join in weekly fellowship with other members of St. Peter's outside of worship. Here we focus on spiritual, emotional, and physical well being from a Christian perspective. You can join a group that is centered on sharing your problems with fellow Christians, have some fun in an exercise class, or learn more about the Bible in our traditional studies.
Every series of Hope Sessions is an opportunity to share a meal, have a devotion together, and then head off to a class of your choosing.
Live meaningfully as part of a community that cares, listens, and loves.
We all have questions about the Bible; how we find those answers is very important. Bible Study is the place to delve into the Word of God and further our understanding of the Holy Spirit. At St. Peter's we have several Bible Studies per week that are directed toward your specific needs.
Women need connection. Loneliness is a growing epidemic that is shortening the lifespans of our people. Fortunately, the church is one of God's many plans for caring for us through other people.
At St. Peter's we have a variety of groups for women based on interest and schedule. We will help you find a group of women who can provide friendship, encouragement, laughter, and support.
Being a young person in this world can be very difficult, and often we have a hard time knowing which voice to listen to. At St. Peter's Young Adults, find fellowship with each other as we seek to examine these pressing questions in the light of the Word of God. When things are confusing, why not go to the source of all truth and find solace in Jesus Christ.
Learn about the love of our Lord Jesus, participate in servant events and enjoy activities that will build friendships and lighten your day. This group is specifically for those age 65 and older (although really anyone is welcome). They meet at least once a month for either a Lunch & Learn event or a field trip. They take a break during January-February to plan for the coming year. Check out the Hub for current information about their next event.
Do you have a gift of music you'd like to share? Our Director of Music, Tim Degen, rehearses an Adult Choir, Brass Choir, Jr. Choir (for our enrolled St. Peter's Students), and Handbell Choir along with soloists and ensembles to enhance our worship services with music and song. We also have a Praise Team, led by Rev. Richard Koehneke, who play once per month on a Saturday (5 pm) and Sunday (10:30 am) service with a more contemporary sound.
Thank you for joining our newsletter. You will receive the newsletter via email on Mondays.
